Purposes and legal basis of data processing

The Users’ personal data will be processed by Daufood under the following legal basis and for the following processing purposes:

  1. contractual obligations i.e. in order to give execution to the general conditions of the Website; fulfill specific requests of the User. Subject to the User giving a specific and optional consent to its data processing for marketing purposes, any contact data (name, surname, electronic mail address, phone number) will be used for the sole purpose of ascertaining the identity of the relevant User (also by means of validation of the electronic e-mail address), avoiding frauds or infringements, and contact the User only for services reasons;

A star in the registration form identifies the personal data, which are necessary for purporting the processing purposes.

  • Daufood employees. Daufood employees and/or workers appointed to manage personal data may become aware of any Users’ personal data. Such subjects, who are formally appointed by Daufood as “persons in charge for the processing”, will process the relevant User’s data exclusively for the purposes specified under this policy and in compliance with the provisions of the GDPR, and other relevant privacy regulations.

Daufood has engaged third parties for analytics services. These third parties may use cookies and other tracking technologies to analyze your usage of our Web site. Retention period

Daufood will retain User’s personal data for the period necessary for the execution of the services or to attend the user's requests or claims [up to 12 years]. After this time, Daufood will keep retaining the data only to the extent necessary in order to fulfill its obligations provided by the law or the European laws and regulations.

When Users have given their consent for their personal data to be processed for the marketing purposes, their personal data will be retained until their consent is revoked.

You may correct, update, amend, delete, or remove that information by contacting us as set forth in the section entitled “Contact” below. We will respond to your request for access within 30 days.
